A little nature walk

Knowing we were in for another big round of rain, Meg and I took to the trails for a morning walk one day this week. I didn't really get much of a fitness workout, but I know my child and her habit of parking herself next to a flower patch, and I figured I might as well practice and play with some photography. She's my favorite subject, after all.

That bag is filled with pine cones, red berries, rocks, leaves, flowers. . . . it's still in my car, come to think of it. I hope she didn't put any insects in there, or snails--her favorite.
