On Thursday, Kristin and I took the three kids to the San Juan Capistrano Mission with my dad's 4th grade class. We actually met dad and drove together which was fun (you really can fit that many people in my Pilot!) and walked around with his class to see the sights. But then . . . we found the fountains and koi pond and there we stayed for most of the rest of the trip. While at least 100 fourth graders roamed about looking for the answers to their worksheets, we lounged by the fountain and then sat in the grass while our little ones twirled, frolicked and gathered sticks. The day was a perfect seventy-ish degrees and the sunshine warmed us all over, not that we were cold (this is California). This was an amazingly beautiful place and I can't wait to go back! I would love to do some photo shoots here. . .
