MOVING WEEKEND

We are moving. The reality kind of sunk in on Friday morning when they brought this POD and set it in our driveway. It was a little smaller than we expected, so we called and ordered a second one which came on Saturday. We kind of walked around and stared at it for several minutes when it arrived, Meg and Carson played inside of it while Brian and I kind of couldn't breathe, the reality of this thing was so heavy and imminent. We've had lots of adventures moving to Colorado then to NY but this move will take us home to California--a big move for our family, since we love NY and worked so hard to get here. California ain't half bad and we'll be saving a good deal living anywhere outside of NY! So, there's our POD. We have a bunch of helpers coming over on Sunday to help us load the big stuff, then the POD people will come and take them to a storage place in Riverside (CA) where they will stay until we call with our new address, which we don't know yet! Heeeeeeere we go!

Here we are having a picnic pizza lunch on the front lawn on one of the first warmish days on the year.
