We said lots of goodbyes during our last few weeks, here are just a few that I actually took pictures of, of course all of the goodbyes were sad, and special. We are really really going to feel the loss of our neighborhood in Briarcliff. Everyone on the "Tree Streets" have become precious friends who we will miss. We know how special the neighborhood is and are fully aware that we will probably never find another neighborhood quite the same. My fondest memory is watching the children walk and ride up and down the sidewalk on bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters. Every evening in the Spring and Summer the sidewalk is full of children and their parents. We parents gathered on the street (or in the Lisis's backyard--they have the cool swingset) to chat. And we felt so loved and blessed when the ladies of the Tree Streets took me out for dinner on Friday and the guys took Brian on Saturday night, to say goodbye. We need to say a special thank you to all of our helpers who helped us move the big stuff on Sunday. Jeff, Jon, James and Dan were so awesome--thanks guys! Thank you to Holly too for taking Meg to play with Sienna during the big move. Now that I've moved on to thank-you's I could go on forever so I'll stop, but I really am feeling blessed by all the love that came our way this week.
Saying goodbye to our house and headed to escrow:

Our goodbye lunch with Ella and Lisa at Sweetiepie Cafe in Greenwich Village

One last coffe at Grumpy's in Chelsea with Jon

Last trip to the farm with Sienna. "Goodbye chickens"

Good-bye New York! I'll be back!

I am totally crying! I am so sad that we were not there to say goodbye! I am so sad you will not be there when we get home. I will miss you - Larch Road will miss you - we love you guys!
I felt your love coming from China! It was a rough goodbye, and I felt that you were missing too. Larch Road and everyone on it (and the Chinese ex-pats, or however you say it) will be in our hearts!
