Happy Easter! This year our Easter was pretty low-key since so much is going on in our lives. But we made it to the mall for a picture with the official Westchester Easter Bunny (whose costume needs to go to the dry cleaner--yuck). Meg said he was not scary at all, not like Santa! Meg chose this dress to wear to meet the Bunny because it is pink "like Sleeping Beauty" and asked me to make her hair "all twirly" like Sleeping Beauty as well and declined to wear a clip or headband because "Sleeping Beauty does not wear one." Geeeeez.
Here is the line-up for the big hunt at the Shaw's house. We went to their place for Easter lunch, which was delish, and egg hunt! Thanks for another fun year, guys! Holly was a champ and hosted an amazing meal despite being in the hospital last week with Salmonella and battling a new cold this weekend. Oh, and being pregnant. And having a "fabulous" houseguest all last week (that was sarcasm) (and no, it wasn't me). I made quiche which turned out quite nicely if I may say so. But enough about food, here are the kids, dying to hunt the eggs:
