Snow!

It started snowing on Friday morning (Dec. 19th) at about 11:15 am and by 12:00 the whole world was white! Meg's pre-school was cancelled even before the storm started. Meg took a killer nap that day and when she woke up we had to go play in the snow even though it was getting dark. This is our first real snow this season. Brian had a rough drive home from Long Island (he was in LI for a holiday party) and we had to cancel our plans for dinner with Lisa, Randy and Ella (which upset me greatly--Lisa made famous meatballs). In any case, it was pretty and Meg loves it and now it feels like Christmas.

Here is Meg freshly napped and dressed in the pink snowsuit that still fits! Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Bob gave it to her last Christmas. She had 4 layers of clothes underneath. Some friends came by and took her for a ride on the sled (Dan was just pulling Meg and Anya, no big hills involved).

The next day Meg couldn't even wait to get dressed, she went out with Brian in her jammies and dress up clothes.

Once she was properly attired, we made a snow girl (found a use for dead hydrangeas).
