Botanical Garden on a Wednesday. . .

Brian hasn't had a day off since Christmas! Plus, he's worked about 4 Saturdays lately so I suggested he take a day off. I didn't have to ask twice, he thought it was a wonderful idea and whipped his Blackberry of his pocket with the utmost speed in order to choose the date. We decided to spend a few hours at the botanical gardens and then we came home and planted our own garden (veggies in the boxes!). Meg fell asleep in Brian's arms about an hour into our time at the B.G. so we sat in the rose garden for a bit then ate lunch at the cafe. It was kind of nice to just sit and let Meg sleep, we drank tea and chatted and it was a Wednesday so not very busy.
