Apple--I mean--pumpkin picking in Yukaipa

We planned to pick apples, but alas. There were no apples to pick!! So we just toured the farm and bought some cute pumpkins. Everyone else in CA also decided to go apple/pumpkin picking this day too--note to self: next year, go on a week day, and earlier in October so there might actually be apples at the apple farm. It was a dusty but fun day with the Scribner side of the family--one we will always remember!!

Kristin, Brian, Meg and Emeri in the pumpkin field. "We got a winner!"

Ah, yes the obligatory family picture:

The grands, with all of the current grandchildren ;)

Left to right: John's backside, Meg's backside, Emeri's backside, Brian's backside.

I adore this baby. Me and August, he was cruising between my legs and the bench, trying not to spill snacks.

August riding on Grandpa's shoulders. Matching Dodgers gear.

This is what a double stroller is really for.

I had my camera in hand when Karen and John told us they are expecting a baby!! This was Kristin's reaction :) Actually, Karen whispered the news to Emeri and Meg who ran over and told us. We are all really excited!
