Easter

Our Easters are usually quiet and easy. . . then again, it's just been Brian & Traci for years and years. . . But Meg is 2 1/2 now and is completely enthralled with anything having to do with holidays. She loves to celebrate anything and everything, maybe because celebrations usually involve cake and/or ice cream. Once we visited the Easter bunny at the mall Meg started noticing bunny rabbits turning up all over the place and she quickly caught on! On Easter Sunday, we went to church (arrived to the EARLY service 20 minutes EARLY. . . in the city no less!!). After church we spent the afternoon at the Shaw's house for a seriously yummy lunch. I made the quiche, pretty delish I must say, but Holly's scalloped potatoes took home the blue ribbon of the day. The bunny cupcakes were created by Allison, Holly & Jeff's neighbor. Meg absolutely loved the egg hunt--she squealed delightedly and skipped around with her little basket on her arm and perfectly embodied classic Easter childhood perfection!
