I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since I've blogged! I thought I'd have all this time on my hands after the holidays, but somehow all my time got sucked up. I actually attempted a few posts and pics a few weeks ago but the blogger police say I'm all out of storage space so I have to deal with that. Any ideas anyone? I might just pay my $20 to get some more space but now I'm wondering what happens next time. Here's a ? for the masses: I love this blog and all the stuff I have been able to record. How can I save it forever? I might start printing out my posts just in case but even my lowly printer quality won't last long. Sigh.
Life these past months has been so much fun, despite being cooped up indoors. We've had some snow. We've been working on the house, including getting ready to build a new deck (we hope). Meg and I bake lots of treats. We read books laying on our tummies on the floor of Meg's room and we have endless tea parties in the playroom. It's been cold so we haven't been to the city quite as often but we watch the weather and when it's a good day we bundle up and head in. Meg loves to go to the city and even loves the drive in as she waits and watches for the George Washington Bridge. Then we sing the George Washington Bridge Song (Anyone from Camp Cherith remember that one?). I am absolutely dying for Spring and summer and am already planning to resume our Central Park Picnics as soon as possible.
Meg's life has assumed a nice little routine: Mondays and Thursdays she attends Creative Playcare from 8:45 to 11:30 am (it's a little pre-nursery program which she adores). On Tuesdays she goes to music class taught by Laca Tines. Meg love love loves Laca and talks about her all week and even practices her special Laca songs. I have to get this on video because did I mention that Laca is an incredible opera singer? Meg likes to try imitating her vibrato voice (only when singing Laca songs!). Meg, Laca and I went to Starbucks together a few weeks ago and Meg still gets excited talking about "Laca and Meg go to Starbucks!"
Meg has so many special friends and one of her favorite things to do is go to birthday parties. Happy Birthday to you is one of her favorite sing-all-day songs! Meg has also become fond of fetching herself a nice dancing skirt then requesting music for dancing around the living room. She has her own style though, and one of her favorite dancing songs is "Jesus Freak" (she takes a nice rapper pose for the "o-o-ohho"'s which I guess I must have done for her at one point). But the number one fave song for dancing or singing is Yellow Submarine, which her Uncle John introduced her and Em to. What is it about that song???
I haven't been too busy on the photography side for a while--I've done a few fun shoots for friends and only one serious paid job since Christmas. That's okay though, the outside is cold and gray and I really don't prefer to work indoors. Many clients have told me they would like to wait for spring and that is fine with me. Brian has been working hard and although things have been stressful (have you seen the stock price---yeeeowie) he is faithful like Horton. He has been with WAMU for 15 years now!! We are praying for a better year!
Ok, that's the update, sans photos and you know how much that kills me! I will get the Blogger all paid up and start posting some pics soon enough!

Yeah! Welcome back.
So you pay for Blogger? What is this non-sense? I've never paid or been limited on photos!
What's up with that!
I never paid before but I found out the hard way that there is a limit to free storage space. . . bummer. I haven't paid yet, they let me upload this time. My pictures are all HUGE files because of my fancy camera so I think that's my problem.
Yippee skippee! You're back. Love the new shots of Meg in her ballet get up. She is a crazy gal! I miss you guys!
