We enjoyed a lovely dinner of grilled steaks and veggies on Saturday, Meg helped to shuck the corn. Meg can't quite pronounce the "sh" sound, it come out more life an "f", nevertheless repeating it over and over and over while I tried not to laugh so hard as to signal to her that this was a taboo phrase! This, by the way, is a fun and famous Grandpa John phrase which can refer to anything homemade from a fire made with wood he cut himself to a cake made from scratch. So, here she is, really shucking the corn. This one is for you, dad.
