This is the truest sentence I have ever penned on paper. . . typed on computer. . .In any case, this girl finds fun in everything she does! On Friday, October 29, Meg and I headed into NYC to meet up with cousin Liz who took the bus in from Pennsylvania. We met up with Brian first, our meeting spot was the Lincoln Center fountain, and here it was that Meg spent almost an hour skipping, squealing, spinning, rolling on the ground, chasing pigeons, feeding pigeons, cooing at pigeons, practicing her Summa wrester stance, dipping toes in water, bouncing her high bounce ball in everyone's path, inspecting the chandeliers through the windows of the Opera House, pushing her stroller in circles, and pausing for a quick snack before starting the circuit all over again. I have to mention that in the middle of hundreds of tourists and onlookers (she was attracting a little attention) she squatted down and yelled, "poo-poo mommy!" Here are a few more specimens of the day:
And here are just a few more "personality" shots of Meg. This is how she like to eat pizza--she LOVES pizza! Here she is munching on a delicious apple which came from Liz and Kent's apple tree (I had a bite or two--yummers). Finally, here is Meg demonstrating two of her favorite pastimes: wearing a bike helmet snatched out of the neighbor's yard (she even knows where they keep it and runs directly for it every time we walk over) and "driving".
