Welcome Home Carson

This last weekend we welcomed home our dog, Carson. He has been living with my parents in California since Baby+Big Dog+NYC=too much! One of the perks of our new suburb life is bringing him home to stay. My mom flew to NY on Friday with Carson and got to stay an extra few days with us as well. Meg and Carson are getting along well, a relationship that is still based on food. They fight over the balls but poor Carson usually loses out. He's been gentle and kind although a little nervous and unsure of where he is and what is happening. Here are a few pics from our welcome home weekend. BTW, I was "down" most of the weekend with what may have been food poisoning. What a great way to entertain my mom for the weekend :(. I was able to do a few outings but I didn't recover enough until Monday . . . mom's last day. Sorry mom, but thanks for taking care of me! Mom and Meg did get to spend quite a bit of time together and I think that was fun for them both.

Meg's cutie-pie moment of the week: Meg has a book called "Mommy Loves" that talks about how all the mommy animals love their babies. The last page says "But most of all, my mommy loves me." So now, I say "my mommy loves. . . " and Meg yells, "ME ME ME!" This is thrilling for us both so we do it all day long. Also, she really wants to type right now, so here goes: vbgkih y tyu nhyb hvn hhhh jh mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm m xxreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeef hgh;lp,mooooom. Love Meg.
