Even though the egg hunt was before Easter, I have to throw this picture up on the blog because I think Meg looked so sweet on this day! The Egg Hunt was at the John Jay Homestead in Katona. Meg and I were invited to join our new friends Trey and his mum, Simone. Of course my digi-cam had a dead battery-- Simone let me use hers for a few shots. There were thousands of children there that day, it was an amazingly colorful event with the combination of a million plastic eggs and all the kids dressed in Spring colors. Meg and Trey thought the eggs were cool but had the most fun just running after one another in the fields after the event was over. You can see that Meg also sampled her first mud pie!
