November 16th. Meg's First Birthday!!!! Our little Ladybug is one whole year old, it's amazing! Today Meg went to the park, played on the swings and slides, then played in the fall leaves, had a picnic on a bench, got some new shoes (ie: we went shopping) and took two really long naps. In fact we had planned to go to the children's museum in the afternoon but she slept all the way up to closing time! Tonight we went out to Sambuca, a little Italian place in the neighborhood where Meg feasted on bread, pasta and veggies. To top it off, we shared a big (HUGE) apple crisp topped with a candle. Everyone in the restaurant joined us in singing and she was in awe of the spectacle. When we came home we let her take a stab at opening presents, and she went at them like an old pro!
