New York Life

Life has been slowing down for us, and we are getting back to our routines, enjoying our city, and looking forward to our favorite season in NY . Friends Jeff and Jen Smith came to visit for a few days around my birthday (the 18th!) and it was great to see them and enjoy some touring around town with them. We missed Emma and Caden who stayed home with Jen's parents, maybe next time, right guys? So, here are a few pics from the last few weeks, just regular life for us! Of course, you'll want to see Miss Meg, so here she is, at home and at play. The other pic is Columbus Circle. I took this from the 4th floor of the Time Warner center on a rainy afternoon (sitting outside Per Se for anyone who cares--shout out to Jen and Juan!). Isn't this a beautiful, although crooked, shot of the city? Meg has been busy exploring the world, she is very interested in the bathroom, the cat food, the fridge and bilingual Elmo. She plays peek-a-boo with the shower curtain, cutest thing in the world! We go to the park and the Central Park Zoo frequently, where she loves the cow. I've had a ton of celebrity sightings lately, last week it was like I was the only non-celebrity in the neighborhood--but I won't drop names because I hate those stalker websites, not that anyone is actually reading mine, but don't you think everyone deserves their privacy? If you really want the list, email me! Hey--don't worry, I'll let ya know if I see the important celebs (John Mayer, Marc Jacobs, Rachel Ray, you know--the real biggies). I will drop that a certain celebrated talk show hostess loved my Meg and played with her for more than a few minutes at the local Cold Stone. I burst with pride whenever anyone pours over my Meg, whether it be gorgeous celebs or sweet old people who need my help determining her gender. An older gentleman a few days ago told me he thought she was a boy because she doesn't have "earrings or bows in her hair." Um, okay. Happy Fall everyone!
