View from Griffith Observatory. We showed it to Meg and her response was, "Oh! California has a New York too!" or something like that. It was cute, trust me.
Meg and Brian at Third Street in Santa Monica the Saturday before Mother's Day, and moments before we randomly ran into my Uncle Rob! Meg really loved the street performers and tried to dance like them later.

This is the back road (shortcut) to Hesperia. The road is swirly (a Meg word) and makes your ears stop working (also a Meg description). It's pure Mojave Desert out here and not much to look at, except this day when I made Brian stop at the top of the hill when the sun was setting. Meg always likes to look for trains on these tracks while we drive this. I just try hard not to get car sick.
