Fall has Fallen

The last few weeks have been amazingly gorgeous with the changing leaves and crisp weather. We drove to the city on one of the first days the leaves were starting to change and Meg was singing along with the radio in the backseat when she called out "Mommy mommy! Look! The leaves are falling to colors." We'd been reading fallish books so she knew what to expect and I thought this interpretation was precious. Since then she's gotten used to the whole colorful leaves thing and spends our drives naming the colors she sees. In Meg's eyes, there are blue and red and purple leaves on the trees, as well as the usual yellow, orange and brown.

Meg loves to help rake leaves! Brian can't wait until she can actually help.

Here is Meg at Sienna's costume birthday party.

And here she is picking apples with her pre-school class.

A few of the gals from the class found this cool old tractor to climb on while enjoying fresh-picked apples.

And here's the whole class, how cute are they?

I know that many of our friends are kindly curious about our situation after the WAMU fiasco, so I'll just say that for now we are okay, but expect some big changes pretty soon. We've had a bit of a stressful past month but look forward to our next new adventure together as a family :). Thank you for your prayers, friends. We'll keep you posted!
