We just got back from our trip to CA for Rebekah and Ryan's wedding (Brian's sister). We stayed with Kris, Rob & Emeri who were so nice letting us crash at their place for a week and a half. Meg and Emeri were in heaven together and loved all their playtime. They have a new place in Claremont with a POOL (the word "pool" is very special to a 2 year old) so it was a nice central location for our romps around So. Cal. We went to the beach and Disneyland as well as visited the Hesperia parents. The wedding was gorgeous at a hilltop house in Irvine. I was the official photographer--yikes, and Meg was the sweetest flower girl in the world thanks to the dress that my mom made. Then we went to Palm Desert (John & Karen's) for a surprise baby shower for Kristin & Rob. Finally, Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Bob made the drive from Camarillo to visit us at Kris & Rob's. They brought the girls goodie bags full of fun stuff from the dollar store--so great! Our trip was busy and hot (geeez, was it always this hot in CA?) and fun-filled and not long enough! I came home with a zillion pictures, all super cute of course but this one kind of says it all: Meg and Em at the end of a full day of Disneyland!
