We just got home from our weekend in DC. The drive was a nightmare, but we had a fantastic time! We did a bit of sightseeing on Friday night and Saturday morning and attended Jennifer and Juan's wedding on Saturday evening. I met Jennifer in a photo class here in NYC almost 2 years ago, and I had the honor of participating in Juan's proposal to Jen (translation: I had to lie, ALOT--it was a blast!). Meg stayed with a sitter for the wedding, but she sure had a blast on Saturday morning, as you can see from some of these pics. She was an amazing traveler, and only protested twice on the way there (6 1/2 hours because of bad traffic). Swimming was another highlight of her weekend, and a great way to exhaust her for a looong nap. It was a very very fun weekend for the Giles. And now, we are all going to bed. Good night!
